Running classes and selling class packs
Set up recurring class schedules, let members reserve a spot, and sell class packs (credits) alongside or instead of monthly dues.
Classes are events with a schedule
In Mybers, a class is just an event with a recurring schedule. Create one from Events → New, set the day/time, capacity, and turn on recurrence (e.g. weekly) so the whole series is generated at once. Members reserve a spot with one tap, and you check them in at the door with the QR scanner.
Selling class packs (credits)
Not every gym or studio runs on monthly dues. Under Settings → Class Packs you can sell credit packs — for example “10 classes for $150.” When a member buys a pack, their balance is tracked in a ledger; each reservation deducts a credit, and cancellations refund it. You can run packs alongside recurring dues, or on their own. Pack sales carry the flat 2% program fee on every plan.
Packs vs passes
Don't confuse a class pack with a class pass. A pack is the prepaid credit bundle described above — the member buys credits once and spends them. A class pass is a recurring monthly subscription attached to a single class series, giving unlimited attendance while it's active (and billed at a flat 2%). Many studios offer both: packs for drop-ins, a pass for regulars.
Tips
- Set a capacity so popular classes don't overfill.
- Use System Phrases (Settings) to rename “Events” to “Classes” everywhere.
- Require a signed waiver before members can register — see the waivers article.
