Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Mybers (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares personal data when you use our membership-management platform (the “Service”). For data that an organization manages about its own members, that organization is the controller and we act as its processor.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email, password hash, organization details.
  • Member data that organizations upload: names, contact details, membership levels, dues, event registrations, and custom fields.
  • Payment data: processed by Stripe; we store identifiers and amounts, not full card numbers.
  • Usage data: log, device, and analytics data to operate and improve the Service.

2. How we use data

  • To provide, secure, and improve the Service.
  • To process payments and send transactional messages.
  • To send product and, where permitted, marketing communications (you can opt out).
  • To provide AI features you request. We do not use your data to train third-party foundation models.

3. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication and analytics. We use PostHog and Sentry for product analytics and error monitoring, which may include session replay. Replays mask text and media to avoid capturing sensitive content. You can control cookies through your browser; where required by law we will request consent before using non-essential analytics.

4. How we share data

We share data with service providers who help us run the Service (e.g., hosting, payments, email, AI, analytics) under contracts that limit their use of the data. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data to comply with law or protect rights and safety.

5. Email and calls

Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link and our postal address, and we honor opt-out requests. Where the Service places phone calls or sends SMS on an organization’s behalf, the organization is responsible for obtaining required consent; members may opt out of calls and texts at any time.

6. Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as an account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, subject to legal obligations.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Members can export their data and permanently delete their account from their member portal; organization owners can export organization data. To make other requests, email hello@mybers.com.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit, scoped access controls, and other safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this Policy; material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Questions or requests: hello@mybers.com.
