Connecting a payment processor
Connect your own Stripe account to collect dues, tickets, and donations.
Connect a payment processor
Payments run through your own Stripe account, connected with Stripe Connect. Money lands directly with you and pays out to your bank — Mybers never holds your funds.
Steps
- Go to Settings → Integrations (Payments) and click "Connect Stripe".
- Complete Stripe's onboarding (business info, bank account).
- Once approved, you can collect dues and event payments.
Members check out by card or wallet (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link) — you choose which are offered under Settings → Payments.
Other processors
PayPal, Square, Mollie, and Razorpay appear in the Payments category of the integration library in beta. Connecting one stores your credentials and lets Mybers reconcile payments from that processor's webhooks — it does not change member-facing checkout, which is Stripe on every plan.
Fees
You pay your processor's standard rate (e.g. Stripe's 2.9% + 30¢). On top of that Mybers takes a flat 1% of member dues & payments on the self-serve tiers (Starter and Pro) — far cheaper than WildApricot's per-contact billing plus its 20% surcharge for using your own processor, and with no per-contact penalty. You pay a flat monthly subscription for your plan, and the 1% is the same whether you have 100 members or 50,000.
Non-dues program revenue is priced separately: class passes, class packs, and shop sales carry a flat 2% on every plan. Event tickets, registrations and donations are charged at the same flat 1% as dues. Payments you record yourself (cash, check, bank transfer) carry no fee.
