Creating your organization

Create your organization, answer a few welcome questions, and get a setup plan built for you.

Create your organization

After signing up and confirming your email, give your organization a name and pick what kind it is. That's all it takes to create it.

The welcome questions

Next you'll see a few one-question screens. Each one saves as you go, and you can skip any of them or choose Finish later.

  1. Your organization: your name, website, what you do and who you serve. Enter your website and click Fill in from my site to pull in your description, colors and logo.
  2. What you want help with: dues, events, email and texts, donations, volunteers, a website or a member directory. Pick as many as you like.
  3. How many members you have today.
  4. Where your member list is: a spreadsheet, another membership platform (WildApricot, MemberClicks, MemberPlanet and others), paper, or nowhere yet.
  5. Who runs things with you: just you, a board or volunteers, or paid staff.
  6. Make it yours: match your website's colors, or pick one of six looks.

Your plan

Your answers become a short plan: the steps that matter for you, in the order that fits. If you're moving from another platform, "Move your members" points straight at the right importer. The same plan is the Getting started list on your dashboard, and each step ticks itself off when it's done.

From the plan you can go straight to Set up levels with Mynd. Mynd already knows your answers, so it starts with your dues and levels instead of asking about your organization again.

A free setup call

Want help? Enter your mobile number under Want a free 15-minute setup call? and someone from Mybers will reach out. Tick the box if it's OK to text you about it; you can reply STOP at any time.

Changing your answers

Open the welcome questions again from Finish the welcome questions on your dashboard (until you finish), or go to /welcome under your dashboard address. Your name and description can also be changed under Settings → General, and your colors under Website.
