Deliverability and Handling Bounces

Keep your emails landing in inboxes and understand how Mybers handles bounces.

Email deliverability

Good deliverability starts with authenticating your sending domain. Open Settings → Email, add your sending domain, and copy the DNS records Mybers shows you into your DNS host. The page re-checks verification for you and shows each record's live status. Verified domains land in inboxes far more reliably than unverified ones.

Bounces and the sending pause

A bounce means an email couldn't be delivered — usually an address that no longer exists. Mybers doesn't maintain a per-address suppression list and doesn't retry individual failures. Instead it watches your recent send history as a whole: if bounces plus spam complaints climb above 10% of recent sends, a circuit breaker pauses all email sending for your organization before your sender reputation is damaged.

If your sending is paused

A red “Email sending is paused” banner appears at the top of your dashboard with the reason. Broadcasts and campaign emails stop going out until it's lifted. Clean up the list that caused it — remove the addresses that bounced — then contact Mybers support to have sending re-enabled; the pause is cleared on our side, not from your settings.

Staying healthy

Keep your list clean: remove or archive addresses that bounce, don't import old lists you haven't emailed in years, and avoid repeatedly emailing people who never open. All three keep you well under the threshold.

The circuit breaker is org-wide, not per address — one bad import can pause every send, so validate a list before you import it.
