Gifts from Givebutter and Bloomerang
Bring gifts from your fundraising tool into Mybers so each member's giving is in one place.
Before you start
Givebutter accounts are for registered nonprofits (it checks your EIN when you sign up), and Bloomerang is a paid product. Donorbox, also nonprofit-only, sells its API as a paid add-on. If your organization isn't a registered nonprofit, keep taking gifts through Mybers instead.
What comes over
Each sync brings in gifts since the last one (the first sync goes back 90 days) and saves them as donations. A donor whose email matches a member is linked to that member, so the gift shows on their profile and in their year-end giving statement. Donors who aren't members stay donors; nobody is made a member.
Refunds and pledges
A gift refunded in the other tool is marked refunded on the next sync. Bloomerang pledges are promises, not money, so they're skipped until a payment comes in.
Re-running is safe
Each gift keeps the other tool's ID, so running the sync again updates it instead of adding it twice.
